First of all before we even get into this sonic masterpiece… lets get into this roll out! Not only is the roll-out engaging, fun and interactive it brings you literally into the World Wide Whack through the world wide web – aside from creative genius, it is frankly the epitome of marketing gold.
The Vortexes
With an immersive website staged like an artsy studio apartment, the explorer can click around and see the coolest pop-ups that provide access to different areas of World Wide Whack, from track previews to merch and even a doodle board that is too on brand.
In just 120 seconds of your time you can travel through vortexes of Giphy and Pinterest to witness all the funky moodboards, content and animated images from the project. Even the collaboration with Nuuly, also posted on Pinterest, will get you living inside some funky Tierra Whack clothes, rent fee. Expanding beyond the popular typical channels for music artists’ promotion like youtube and instagram, this is what we mean by immersive. Artistic accessibility and marketing gold, this is Tierra Whack’s internet now.
Welcome back from Tierra Whack’s vibrant vortexes! It’s a no-brainer to say we see a Webby award in Tierra’s future to add to her already well earned and growing accolades. Whack and her team really created a one-of-a-kind internet age experience and lived up to Tierra’s GARGANTUAN artistic aura with this roll out. For the record we are still counting Whack World as one of the greatest Instagram roll-outs of an album and concept to date.

Background & Concept
After being selected by the vending machine on the Whack World cover in apparent sadness and agony dressed in a clown ensemble – Grammy nominated artist, Tierra Whack, showers up and puts on a happy face for her debut appearance as the Joker dressed in black and white now in the spotlight of the World Wide Whack cover. “Shower Song” spearheading the album as the lead single, bubbling out with a tune and message everybody should stand ten toes behind.

At first glance, on Whack World she showed up as a toy - if you know anything about spades then you KNOW the Joker card ain't nothing to play with, not the little one or the big one. You hope to have'em on your team when the cards are dealt. That's how Tierra Whack is coming on World Wide Whack!
Voices
Listening to the Album with no expectation except to hear what in the world Tierra has to say; it is clear that Tierra has many voices, she shows the listener her colorful character in the way she famously adlibs with the most clever interjections and writes in double, triple and quadruple entendres. The talent should make you sweat in all honesty.
Keeping up with the lyrical agitator and genius is good for the brain in our humble opinion. She gives us nursery rhyme cadences and melodies with quirky intelligence that has a divine purpose to jog your thinker! Heavy on the jog.
Vulnerability
Its no small gesture that Mood Swing is the first track as the album gives us just that. A range of emotions, moods and vulnerability on topics which many can relate such as anxiety, depression, anger, heartbreak, adoration, elation, self confidence and even self destruction is what the audience is set to experience.
Big Whack also did not leave out a mood that few can relate to, which is the conflation that come with mixing stardom with the already complex human experience.
She addresses the fragility of life in full color with a marching band, cheer leaders and step guide, while dripped in silver like an old friend – as can be seen and felt by all in the visual directed by Alex Da Corte to accompany the closeout track 27 Club. In the visual she wears many faces all which the audience can see as true to her life experiences. The dizzy glasses appear to be alluding to this new phase she has entered in her artistry and career with Interscope Records, driving home the concept, vulnerability and authenticity of her character which Whack is so graciously sharing with the whole wide world.
Reaction to 27 Club: Jolted my heart when I heard the word, reminded me that living, first and foremost is victorious of all verbs.
